What to wear?
This depends on the type and location of our portrait session. If you would like recommendations on what to wear for you specific session just send me a quick message and I will be happy to send you ideas.
I will travel outside of Johnston/Des Moines, additional travel will require milage as part of the agreement. There is a $.90 per mile travel fee.
Rescheduling and Cancellations?
If an illness prevents a photo session from taking place, you may rescheulde your session prior to your session without penalty but the reschedule date will be scheduled to reflect when I have time to squeeze your session in. If you cancel your session all together you will loss the $300 deposit.
If it is raining the day of your session I will contact you to reschedule your session. I will wait two hours before the session to call it. This is one area that we both will have to be flexible for rescheduling.
How Many Pictures will I get with my session?
For a 60 minute session or high school seniors session you get 20 fully edited images that you may pick from a gallery of the images I take the day of the shoot. For a 30 minute mini shoot session you get 10 full edited images that you may pick from a gallery of the images I take the day of the shoot. Once you decide on the images you would want from the gallery those will be put on a thumb-drive and mailed out to you or I can also send them to you digitally so you will have access to the images immediately. You may purchase additional images for $18.00 a piece.
How many people per session?
For a family/child session I do charge an extra $25 per each person after five people. For High School Seniors I do charge an extra $25 per person because I like to focus on just the senior on this special time of their lives.
What if we go over the schedule time?
I will be happy to schedule a longer time with you than the normal 60 minute for family/children session or more than the normal three hour for high school seniors or engagement couples. It is additional $175 per each extra half hour. But if you would like more than one location for the family/children sessions or more than two/three locations for the high school senior you may consider wanting to book that extra 30 minutes.
What if I am late to my session?
My time does start at the scheduled time of your session. If you do show up late you will not end up with as many images and will be rushed so you may want to consider the extra 30 minutes for the $175 or just realize that if you are 15 minutes late that your session will only be 45 minutes long. So I do encourage everyone to be on time an ready to go at the scheduled time so we get the best images we can.
Re-shoots are determined at the discretion of the photographer. They will not be given for poor choice of clothing, make-up, hair, or by not following recommendations of the photographer. They also will not be given just because you do not like the way you look or your child looks in the pictures.
What if I lose my thumb drive after our shoot?
To replace your lost thumb drive it will cost $40 and I do keep the images on my computer for 6 months. So if you need the thumb drive replaced with in that 6 months I will be able to help you out….but all images after that 6 months do come off my computer to make more room for others so please remember to always back up your images.
